The stallion Patron was a son by Aswan, a stallion imported from Egypt to Russia. Patron's dam is Podruga who was a successful racing horse. Besides Patron, she gave birth to Palba. Palba was awarded with Certificate of First Degree at the All Union Exhibition in Moscow in 1964. Patron was also successfully exhibited. He was Dutch National Champion. Patron is also well-known beeing the sire of US and Canadian National Champion Padron and of World Champion Abdullahhh.

additional information: exported to the Netherlands in 1972; thrice Dutch National Champion Stallion; had piroplasmosis, a disease harmless to horses, but transmitted onto cattle.
